Pedestal basin

Surviving by the skin of its teeth this one. It was in a building classed as a 'dangerous structure' which was being pulled down, well, pushed over more like. It was upstairs in a room the other side of a collapsed passage and had fallen over. To get it we had to gingerly step from the stairs onto the lintel opposite and haul it upright, cut the pipes and pass it over the void of the hallway. And there's not a mark on it, quite remarkable. Great example of an increasingly hard 1930's Deco pedestal basin.
We left the toilet though.
