Details of Flagstones


Viewed before the lockdown, picked up last week, these look like sandstone flags, certainly some kind of sedimentary rock judging by the way they cleave into layers. Mellow honey colour, they may be slabs imported from abroad in the last 50 years or so as they aren't Caithness or York which are the types I'd expect to see, but nice, a manageable size and still proper stone.
We have measured them but haven't quite got around to working out the total area.
