Alabaster pot

This was actually my grand mothers, who was a sculptor and professional flower arranger back in the '30's-'50's and she used to pick these things up for her work, usually in the markets around Pettycoat Lane in London which I'm not sure even exists anymore, and if it does its probably just selling artisan bread and olives now.

Its hard to see but there's a bird carved onto this pot and the whole thing must be about a foot tall.
