Early Cast Iron Garden Gates

Very attractive pair of garden gates in aesthetic style. The more you look at them, the more detail you see. They originally led from a formal terrace into a lower level garden in the grounds of a large mansion, which was built in the 1860s. One spike missing & a couple of small cracks, which can easily be fixed, but a rare survivor as so many of these were taken away & melted down during the war (obviously not if you were wealthy enough to keep ahold of them). Each gate is 41'' wide & 36'' tall.
